I'm no slouch at pathological postponement either. I used to have four old chairs with caned seats in the dining room. One seat broke through about 18 years ago. So I bought more cane and put it in the basement to re-cane it. Well, there are now three chairs with busted seats down there, and the cane is unused.

We no longer have sit-down dinner parties.

I'm so lazy I'm surprised I bother to breathe.
