deck rigging, "tow line"

parallel foredeck bungies are more useful than criss-crossed bungies. DON"T put the first foredeck bungie right up against the coaming as shown in this drawing. It's a safety issue. Tow line for what?,,look for a tow belt. "tow lines" aren't something like a painter or a line going off page as they imply a disabled paddler or emergency use, issues beyond the configuration of rigging.
