Ron,

19 foot Sea Lion with hatches, seat (mini cell), fully rigged, deck fully glassed and assorted spider webs - 54#.

Ya know, the only time the kayak's weight really matters is when you have to heave it onto roof racks. (Ask Terry Mcadams and sciatica Mac). It's the combined weight of kayak and paddler that counts in the water - know where I'm goin' here?
