Planing Sheer Clamps

I think the answer to this question is obvious but I just wanted to confer with the "experienced."

I'm building a Pax 18 which has a 12" radius deck in the bow and 60" radius deck in the stern. The manual doesn't say anything about what to do where the two radii meet in the middle of the cockpit.

I guessed that I should gradually roll from one to the other.
