Not Acetone

Aaron,

You need to scrape the sticky stuff off the boat. Then wipe the boat down with denatured alcohol or vinegar. Do NOT use acetone. Acetone is good for cleaning your tools, but could leave a residue on the hull causing epoxy adhesion problems later.

Remember, NEVER use a solvent to clean epoxy off your skin. I will thin the epoxy so much that it will be absorbed in your body. Use soap and water.
