Chamfering uniformity:

Posted by Bob Willing on Sep 28, 2004

A plane is a good tool to chamfer the edges of the stern (bow), chine, and transom. An excellent tool is a router with a 45-degree chamfer bit. Set the depth of the chamfer bit bearing just enough to capture the ball bearing in the 6mm piece if plywood. Use the same depth for the 9mm plywood as well. This will give a uniform cut as well as reducing splintering.
