lt 17 alterations

I read your response to lt17 alterations a couple of weeks ago as to how to make for atighter fit by recessing the cockpit coaming. I'd like to see any pictures you have on that. I'm also thinking of reducing the shear panel by 1 inch and reducing the bottom panels by 1/2 inch each at the keel line for a total of 1 inch to make for a bit narrower hull. What do you think of that? Also, are you now settled on going 3 inches further back for your seat posistion to make the boat more wind neutral? That sounds interesting. Any further thoughts on these things you care to share would be greatly appreciated.
