See, it works just as well without the paint.

As far as your choice of boats, that's probably a lot more common than you think - finding a dreamboat and having to settle for affordable reality. The neat thing is, after a while of getting used to the new boat, it stops feeling like settling.

Did you get a chance to actually try the wherry before you built it?
