Steven, yes the joints will show. To what degree depends on how tight the seam is (wider seam more visable),how closly you match the filler with the wood color( epoxy/wood flour mix is often darker than the wood, even when using sanding waste from the same wood, silicatends toward a milky white filler). Try mixing small batches of silica and wood flour and get as close as you can to the same color as the hull. Or just fill the gaps as I did ( I'm painting) with wood flour and epoxy and hope it doesn't look too bad. It'll probably be more noticable to you than any one else anyway. RogerJ
