Deck is not glassed. It's also about a foot from the bow and would be tough to reach from the hatch. One thought that I had was to add a little glue or epoxy in the opening and then put wax paper over it and then use a strap and try to tighten it down. Basically try and force it back into place. I'd then then sand lightly and epoxy and varnish over the repaired area.

Does that sound feasable?
