Lee intrigues as usual.

What's a monkeys fist? I'm about ready to try something different, and want to stay with rope only, for now.

Is is possible to keep the knot out of the water when paddling?

From what you've said in your post, it would be safer with a tumbling kayak?

Do you have a link to a picture or diagram?
