The big advantage of carbide scrapers is that they don't dull - I did my whole Wherry with one, no discernable dulling. Dave's right, though, the std. cabinet scrapers allow more control, also come in curved shapes or can be custom-shaped to follow curves or get into tight spots.
Even if they get dull, the std scrapers are easy to sharpen with a file. You can also get fancy and put a "hook" on the edge with a burnisher, but that's not necessary for epoxy cleanup work.
