"Mac" re: cabinet scraper

Mac Ithink you advocated using scrapers rather than sanding. I like that idea and bought some. Could you elaborate a little on how and when you use them. I've been using them between fill coats to take of any High spots but was wondering if I should just wait until the final smoothing. Thanks, Peter PS: It's really starting to shine
