There are other methods that are more effective for abrasion resistance in the 12"x1/2" area of the stern than laying down 36 sq.inches of cloth. A couple layers of bias cut 6oz cloth for one,,,cabosil80%/woodflour20% mix of putty is used on the Arctic Hawk, glass tape is doable but it's a LOT more work to fair in the rough edges, especially since it won't wrap around a sharp edge. Where is the recommendation to use 3" tape?
