Re: Perfection or launch
Posted by jim nelson on Aug 6, 2004
Ive got an unsual question: I'm running out of time before a trip to Isle Royale where I was planning to take my new CH16 and maybe the wifes CH16Lt. Both hulls are assembled, glued, and Im in sanding hell. (I'm building them side by side.) But Im running out of time and think it might be best to focus on getting one ready for varnish. The question: how dumb is it to float an unvarnished boat for a few days (ok, about a week.) Or should I go with just one boat and return home to finish my project? Put that in your collective pipes and smoke it. Thanks folks!
