Steve,

I am building a MC 16.5, glassing the deck this week. Anyway, I wanted to do the same idea you had with regard to painting the bottom half and varnish on the top. I've seen the techniqes for full side painting and wrapping up onto the deck with paint. However, I'd like to know how you got your line, (i.e. did you freehand the masking, did you score the line between paint and varnish, etc.) Appreciate the help.
