The Happy Bottom seat from CLC comes with hip braces as an integral piece so I didn't use the wood and mini-cell arrangements. I am still working on a seat set-up that is both comfortable and allays the dreaded "sleepy" feet syndrome. I haven't quite resolved it yet, but my last experiment was 100% better. Only my left foot went numb instead of both.
