Terry, I'm sure we would have enjoyed your dad - but you're doing him proud here (puns and all).

I got a set of cabinet scrapers and a burnishing tool - actually you can use the steel for sharpening a butcher knife as a burnisher. I used them in conjunction with my carbide scraper on the whole boat once I had the cloth and wetout done, and for all subsequent coats of epoxy, primer, paint and varnish. Virtually retired the ROS. Scrape runs, sags, drips then wet sand.

The beauty is being able to do this on green epoxy and clean up with vinegar. I must have saved enough on sandpaper disks and respirator cartridges to buy my next kit. (I tend to exagerate a wee bit).
