Sanding with 320 won't give the final finish a glossy effect. 320 is usually used before final painting. For a final finish before polishing some painters use 1000 to 1500 grit then use a polishing compound. If you get a smooth finish with the next coat and it has a nice gloss then just leave it.
I'm not familiar with Brightsides, but I have used PPG Omni (MKT) which is an acrylic urethane and it finishes with a nice gloss which doesn't need buffing or polishing.
