When I did my flush hatches I made them to the standard CLC size and they did deform a little down either side when I put the stiffeners in. It ended up being a little flatter down either side. I just made the hatch fit the deck profile and you cannot tell they are a little flatter down the sides. We are only talking a 1/16 to an 1/8 flatter.
