Re: Work Table Size

For scarfing, I made a workfloor from plywood and 2X4s, and later lifted it onto sawhorses as worktable. It was nice, but I agree with Laszlo that it is not necessary. It was expensive and time-consuming, and it used up some work space, for a small benefit. On my next boat, I will skip the whole workfloor and worktable idea and just use sawhorses. For scarfing, I will use the garage floor or sawhorses, with some scrap ply to give something to drill the drywall screws into.
