Okay, plenty of response to get me through the coaming buildup. What about the flush hatch initial cut, what are you guys using? Straight edge and a razor knife or?? Now, on to the real problem. While trying to position the kayak earlier this spring it fell. The result is a jagged hole punched through a bottom panel. The piece is still attached and I am thinking the best repair situation is to drill holes and use bolts w/ nuts to force the piece back into place. Two pads w/ wax paper, bolts and nuts, epoxy, good clamping power and refill the drilled holes after all is done. Anyone have something else, I'm sure it isn't the best way but it is what I have come up with so far. Terry.
