Arctic Hawk coaming stack

I think that one is three layers of 4mm between 4mm coaming and deck which equals a total thickness of 20mm. The Chesapeake has two 9mmspacers, a 6mm coaming on a 4mm deck which equals 28mm. Hmmm,,think of the weight savings and shin clearing room for kayaks that aren't low volume but have lower freeboard like the LTs or WR18?
