I bought my ROS on eBay including two rolls of adhesive back discs (80 and 150 grit) and shipping for less than I could get just the sander at the "big box" stores. It's a Porter Cable 5 inch and worked great. Shop around.

In truth, I used the power sander far less than I anticipated. I found hand-sanding easier to control and a lot less dusty. Just my $0.02.
