I see that the current board using something called perl (in the tech world, it's almost pre-historic for a web programming language, imho ;)

But the rest of the site uses PHP. There are a lot of free forum apps out there in PHP. I've used one called PHPBB - It's used all over the place. I think if CLC "skins" it to match their site some more, and configures it so it's not too much different, everyone would benefit. There are a lot more features like searching I believe. worth a look anyway. Url below
