Then I have a problem....

Take a look at the following two pictures.

#4 shows without any spreader. It points straight up.

#5 shows with the spacer on the sheer clamp. Points straight up.

I was thinking I could do the deck trick using tie downs to bend the hull so I can easily stitch it.
