CH17 front deck
Posted by Allan Reade on Jul 1, 2004
Have done a dry run trying the fit of the front deck on my CH17 and found the deck flattened out in front of the bulhead, probably to allow for the upward curve at the bow.
I didn't have the deck strapped down onto the shearclamps forward of the bulkhead, so this may be fixed once I start banging in some nails, but is there a trick to this?
I know a flattened front deck at the bow would not be a problem, other than slightly reducing forward buoyancy going through waves, but it looked wrong.
Any hints?
Thanks
Allan
