Good advice. For those who have trouble remembering that 350 pound rule, here is an old sea chanty that may help:

If the paddler who climbs in the Triple should weigh Two hundred and fifty pounds that day, Then ballast her with three small kayaking fans, Or 22 sixpacks of Shiner, in cans.
