BRRRR!!

Tony, one of things they say over and over in "Deep Trouble" is to dress for the *water temperature*, not the air temp. Wet suits and dry suits are a necessity to avoid hypothermia, if I understand it correctly... although I have an even better idea: paddle in WARM water.

Have you ever heard of Sudden Drowning Syndrome? They say (again, in "Deep Trouble") that some paddlers istantly axphysiate due to immersion - or DROWN - because the involuntarily GASP when they hit the cold water. GEEEEZ! Who wants to paddle in THAT kinda stuff?!

Not ME! BRRRR!!!, Kurt
