Yeah, that was my thought. Of course, if you're used to car camping, your idea of necessities is a bit different than if you're an ultralight backpacker. With time, people tend to find a happy middle ground between extremely light and extremely heavy though. I'm sure it will be the same with Mike and his wife if they do more boat camping.
