Well Kurt, if two coats is good enough for you, then two is gonna probably work for me, too.

I'm itching to put this sucker in the water, so as soon as the paddle that I ordered comes in, I'm getting it wet!

'sides...worse that'll happen is that it'll turn "chalky" over a long period of time.
