Malone of Maine Paddles

Did this paddle manufacturer go out of business? I can't find a URL for them. Also, does the Greenland paddle construction guide sold by CLC contain info on laminating other colors of wood into a paddle much like the Malone of Maine Fire Island paddle? I love the way they incorporated cherry into that paddle and would like to do something similar if I make my own, but I'm still trying to figure out the way to get that design.
