The CLC Hatch kit uses small bolts with those locknuts that have plastic in them to hold the plywood tabs in place. This allows you to adjust the tension and doesn't loosen as you turn the tabs. They use one of the washers, like they supply to hold the webbing down, that cups the flat head of the bolt which spreads the force and makes them friendlier to slide over when playing around or rescueing. Check the builting tips part of the clc web site for more info. I am pleased with the results.
