I built from plans too. My recommendation would be to mark your panels so you can run a straight witness line through each panel. Do this while the plywood is still intact. Then when it is time to scarf you can set up a string line or other means of checking alignment. I am sure others have other ways of doing this. If you can afford the wood you could make up long rectangular pieces of ply then trace the whole panel onto that after the scarf is cured. Then nothing can shift on you. Double scarfs just mean abit of extra prep. work. RogerJ
