reducing sciatic nerve

pressure.

The whole idea with a conforming seat is to support the fat/muscle of your butt so that it can support your skeleton up off of the sit bones and sciatic nerve. For paddlers where leaning is a part of their skills repetoire the side of your seat becomes the bottom in a hard lean,,during rolling the support shifts around. By having the full 3" of minicell to work with you can carve the side of the seat up higher into the hip braces providing more support during those leaning moments but mostly because your butt has more than 1"or 2" height to it when you're sitting down. Also you can extend that support into the bottom and side of your thighs. Less spread is more support,,more support is less point pressure on sciatic nerve.
