identification

I'm having trouble identifying what the latches are and the bow and stern splice plates. My guess is that the latches belong to the cockpit and the hatches and that the two splice plates are about 1 X 6 inches (different sizes) with angled ends, but I am not certain and don't want to fiberglass the wrong pieces. Also, I seem to have a pair of two center splice plates, what's the deal with that? Thankyou Jamie
