Re: Internal hatches

A bulkhead makes a great boat strengthener. I'd want one near my mast step. I'm wondering why everyone is so hot to cut a hole in the deck of the boat? Why not put the hatch inside the boat? There are all sorts of good solid affordable hatches available on the market. And the fit and finish could be average - who would see it? Sailboy
