Yeah, the experts say that the during cure, the ability of the epoxy to bond to a new layer is steadily declining. It is not like it's just as good at 60 hours as it was at 10 hours. The later you go, the more benefit sanding gives, since sanding ensures a good bond mechanically, to make up for the weaker chemical bond. How big of a risk is it? Heck, I don't know. This is all theory. On this forum I have not heard of epoxy delaminating, but I guess it can happen?
