Black Fly Season?

Anyone frequent the northeast, the lake george, ny area in particular? I'm planning a trip for sometime near memorial day weekend (either the week before or after). I've heard about black fly season being a problem, so I'm trying to avoid that. Anyone have any info on that?

Can't wait to launch my new double! Stay tuned for the final pics in the coming weeks... I'm going to be putting the finish on it over the next 2 weeks in preparation for the trip. And launch pics of course when I return from upstate.

Thanks to all on the forum for the tips, my second CLC boat is going to be great :)
