Yup, been there, done that. Although I am not building a CLC kayak I too mis-cut and or had things slip alignment during the night. I corrected with alot of sanding and filling. I also reinforced the thinned areas inside with additional layers of fiberglass/carbonfiber. It looks alot better now, but I am still building so who knows how it will track. For cosmetics I used West Systems 105/206, epoxy/hardener, with thier Low Density Fairing compound, 407. This under the exterior hull glass so I have a sandwich of outside glass,fairing, plywood, inside carbonfiber with glass over that. If they are REALLY BAD check with CLC about replacement or buy some Okoume plywood and recut it yourself. I working from plans so I had to cut it all out the first time, it can be done again,'til tou get right. RogerJ
