sole spoke shave then- It'll do those inside surfaces just like a plane does the flat ones.
I have both flat soled and rounded sole shaves- plus about 5 block planes. once you learn to use them they are all wonderful tools.
Although the surforms DO have their uses- the small surform block planes work realy realy well to cut away semi cured epoxy on tape edges and laps. Also do a great job rounding the edges where the glass hangs over- takes those razor edges away :)
My FAVORITE surform is no longer made though. I bought 4 and all the blades I could find some years ago. That's the 1/2 inch wide Mini-file. It was the only Surform that cut all the way out to both edges- Fantastic for cleaning out the bottom of notches for stringers, etc. I'm hoarding the blades- maybe I have enough to last til I retire!!
