Count us among those who thought that Voice of America was a Cold War institution. It's not, it's a huge and thoroughly modern multi-media outfit that broadcasts weekly to 134 million people via radio and television. And a few weeks ago, they appeared at CLC to film a short clip about us. Our attempts to hear what an explanation of stitch-and-glue boatbuilding sounds like in Hindi (one of 38 VOA television broadcast languages) were thwarted because we couldn't navigate the Hindi-language section of the VOA website.
