Six or seven weeks into Scott Mestrezat's quest to paddle the entire 2,400-mile length of the Missouri River from southwestern Montana to St. Louis on his purpose-built Kaholo 14, as we write this in late July he is taking a week off to rest and re-energize--and add some updates to his Missouri River SUP blog and Facebook page.

He's covered more than 1,000 miles, crossed into the Dakotas, met some interesting fellow travelers, and had more than a few adventures along the way. He's even been nominated for "Expedition of the Year" by SUPthemag.com (voting is open; you can cast your ballot, too).

Along the way, he's been posting photos, stories, and links to some nice media coverage as well as a very good video montage of his passage through Montana.
