Brooklin, Maine In business for almost 30 years, the WoodenBoat School's sprawling campus fronts on Eggemoggin Reach and Penobscot Bay. Students stay in a beautiful old farmhouse, enjoy family-style meals, and after class may avail themselves of a classic fleet of wooden smallcraft on the waterfront. You are surrounded by wooden boats at every turn, and the pastoral beauty of Brooklin helps explain the literary inspiration of Brooklin's most famous resident: wooden boat enthusiast and writer E.B. White. The nearby Blue Hill Fair features in his "Charlotte's Web." Come to Brooklin and you'll understand why 60% of every class comprises returning WoodenBoat School alumni.

Annapolis, Maryland We've been holding classes at our Annapolis factory since 1998. Heated, air conditioned, and completely equipped, in our classroom we've turned out hundreds and hundreds of boats. We're a short, pleasant walk from a B&B. Founded in 1694, Annapolis is the home of the US Naval Academy and was briefly (1783) the capital of the United States, and many of the buildings from that era survive. Annapolis calls itself the "sailing capital of the world" and the fresh Chesapeake Bay seafood is delectable.
