painting wood or painting fiberglass?
I'm looking at a manufaturer's paint catalogue and (of course) there are different guidelines for painting "wood" boats and "fiberglass" boats.
With respect to paint, is the fiberglassed portion of my hull a "fiberglass" boat?
Is it still a "wood" boat for the purposes of painting if the okoume is epoxied (no fiberglassing)?

If the wood is covered in fiberglass and/or epoxy, your boat is considered fiberglassed for painting purposes.
