Nose Job on a wood Duck

I have wired and rewired the bow of my Wood Duck 10 all I can do.  The bottom panels are still 1/4 inch longer than the sides.  (It looks alot like the picture on pg. 27 of the manuel).    Earlier Laszo suggsted that this can be corrected with a plane and sanding.  When do I do that?? And how?

I have just finished wireing on the deck (first time)

Thanks for any and all hlelp.

RE: Nose Job on a wood Duck

Clay,

I'd wait until the seams are glued & taped. Surgery is easier if the patient can't squirm.

Hang in there, you're almost over the hump.
