I would like to build the Northeaster Dory. I have no experience in building anything.
Should I attempt to build this boat given my lack of experience in this area?

Yes! Go for it!
I'm building a Skerry from scratch and the skills are very similar. Anyone can do it with a bit of patience and forethought. Consider getting a kit though. It can save a lot of time and headache.
This reminds me of a quote:
"I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do."

RE: Northeaster Dory
I am building a dory and don't have any experience with woodworking either. I ordered extra fiber glass, epoxie, and fillers from CLC. I will practice gluing, stiching, sanding, fiberglassing on plywood planks (that I will also pratice sawing and planing on). I want to make my mistakes on practice boards and not my kit.

Take one of the Northeastern Dory classes like I'm doing. I'll report my experience in the class in late April.

David,
The NE Dory was designed for guys like you! It's a fun boat to build, no experience required. Go for it!
