Wow!  You are at the exact stage I am right now.  I am cleaning up the coaming as I write this (or right after I write this)!

Very nice, thanks for posting.  I had to wait for the 17LT coaming to dry today so only hand sanded the deck.

As you may be able to tell, my combing is removable so deck sanding will be easier and shaping and sanding combing I hope will be easier too.  I was particularly concerned with the clean up and work on the spacer rings. I hope the combing will be an eye catcher.

Dan,

Mine was an eyecatcher even before I mounted it on the boat. I was sanding it out in my driveway (MUCH easier than trying to sand it on the boat) and the neighbor came up behind me and asked just what the heck was that piece of wood for.

So I showed him the WD12 in progress. It was a guy bonding moment.

I'm surprised, BTW, that your hull didn't bend under the weight of all that iron :-)
