Vinyl Striping Tape

I'm planning to paint the hull of the hybrid I'm building and thinking of adding a 3/4" vinyl tape stripe. This material is sold by Jamestown Distributors for marine use. Has anybody on this forum tried this? How does it hold up on a sea kayak? -Wes

I use outdoor rated vinyl on cars all the time and it works well. Marine rated vinyl is even better and it should hold up very well. I have had the thought of experimenting with vinyl on my kayak but have not had the chance yet.
