Hey, as I add the sail components to my NE Dory, I'm wondering if there is an alternative to the star knob used to hold the mast thwart in place?  I switched out the plastic cleats for bronze ones (featured in the CLC shop), but I would like to switch the plastic star knobs to something with more appeal... any ideas?

Also.. any opinions on using the "Waterlust Canoe" seafoam green on the NE Dory?  It's painted white as of now because I like the classic look, but I'm considering switching the color after seeing the beautiful Waterlust canoes.. opinions?
